Stars of mother nature campaign – A Valuable Insight

Stars of Mother Nature, a powerful campaign, conceptualised by a 7-year-old, gives kids the opportunity to research about the environment and get published this summer.

The campaign proved to be a huge success as it focused on the collaborative storytelling approach. It gained recent popularity among the masses. Leading Media and Newspapers such as Indian Express, Tribune, Yahoo News, National Herald, Hindustan times and Press 24 wrote inspiring articles on this wonderful initiative.  The campaign gained nationwide attention and inspired young kids to take part and gain insightful knowledge about the environment.

Kids have become aware of the challenges facing the environment, more than ever before. Inspired by the same thought, nature lover, Parnika, has come up with this inspiring initiative, “Stars of Mother Nature” to encourage kids to learn about nature, the environment, recycling and more.

The initiative has been curated in partnership with leading parenting blog, The Happy Moms Café, ( and HeyCloudy, India’s first screen-free audio listening and learning app for children.

Commenting on her initiative, Parnika believes, “Mother earth is beautiful and so are her many treasures. We need to learn about them. And what better way to do this than through storytelling. Because we kids love to tell stories.”

Telling stories opens the eyes of young kids to new possibilities.

Designed and curated for children aged 6 to 14 years, this campaign will encourage kids to learn about mother nature, develop empathy and cultivate their imaginative thinking.

Around 8 stories will be selected to be published as an audio series on the HeyCloudy app. Every participant will be lauded for their effort and interest in the environment and will get a Badge of participation from HeyCloudy and The Happy Mom’s Café. Stories will be submitted here.

“Summer breaks offer time and space for more learning and creativity. We thought this would be a fabulous idea for parents to engage their kids in a meaningful manner.” Says Preeti Chaturvedi, Founder of The Happy Mom’s Café. The campaign is not a contest. The entries selected will be purely representative. We want to encourage kids to be more conscious about the environment. Stories help to develop a child’s imagination by introducing new ideas into their world.

HeyCloudy is a great platform for giving kids this opportunity as it is backed by experts in the field of early education in collaboration with parents and educators. The audio stories in child-friendly voice and modulation are not only gentle on young minds but are centred around brain development, vocabulary enhancement, listening skills, concentration and critical thinking in early childhood. The collection of their musicals are perfectly designed to cater to the various moods of little ones.

“Telling little children the right stories is our way to change the future world. This campaign goes a step further and enables them to tell the right stories- which we feel is even more powerful.” said Chitman Kaur, Founder of HeyCloudy.

The app already has more than 10,000 kids and is highly rated by parents. A child can listen to stories in English, Hindi and Tamil anytime during the day or night.

This engaging initiative offers several advantages to children. It instils virtues in your little ones, fosters their imagination, increases their cultural understanding and improves their social skills. It also opens their eyes to other people’s thoughts and understanding of how every person’s opinion varies. Stories convey values, beliefs, attitudes and social norms which, in turn, shape children’s perceptions of reality.

Motivate your kids to take part in this initiative and give them the wonderful opportunity to express their feelings about nature and the environment.
